The boys are indeed back in town.
With the NHL officially moved into Phase 2 of their four-phase Return To Play plan, Boston superstars Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand were fittingly the first duo on the ice for the Bruins at Warrior Ice Arena on Wednesday.
It's kind of hard to imagine, but here we are, celebrating (perhaps without pants on) two of the best players in the NHL skating around some equipment and firing pucks on an empty net. I don't even care, really. The noises alone are enough to get you pumped for the potential return of hockey this summer.

In Phase 2, players will be allowed back into team facilities to go through small group workouts of no more than six skaters.
The workouts will not feature any sort of contact, coaches and off-ice staff members will not be permitted on the ice with them, and players will not have any face-to-face interaction with coaches off the ice. Every player's day will begin with a self-administered temperature check, too, and players with a temperature over 99.5° F will not be allowed into the building.
If the league can move through Phase 2 without any issues, a move into Phase 3 will see teams and coaches return for a three-week training camp ramp-up with the intention of moving to Phase 4, which is a return to game action.
The Bruins entered the pause as the league's best team, and will play in a three-game, round-robin tournament for seeding should the league successfully return and crown a 2020 Stanley Cup champion.
