School districts across New York State began counting ballots at 5 p.m. Tuesday for the annual vote on school budget proposals and school board candidates.

Fourteen districts that reported results by early Wednesday – Sweet Home, North Tonawanda, Lackawanna, Maryvale, Lewiston-Porter, Starpoint, Iroquois, Holland, Cleveland Hill, Royalton-Hartland, Wilson, Alden, Akron and North Collins – all saw budgets pass by a wide margin.

Other districts said it could take days to finish tallying the mail-in votes.

The following is school election results on the proposed budgets, propositions and candidate elections in 37 districts in Erie and Niagara counties.
