Northerly winds will push moisture from the ocean towards the coastline today. Eastern MA and NH will see occasional light snow or mixed precipitation through early afternoon. With a shift in winds this afternoon and dry air on the way, most towns and cities will dry out. Showers may continue on Cape Ann and the South Shore, but the most likely spot for ongoing rain/snow showers will be the Cape and Islands during the second half of the day. We’ll even see some breaks in the clouds across western New England.
