For the past few nights, I’ve been dreaming that I am pregnant. Yesterday, I dreamt that I had already given birth and my dead grandmother is handing me the baby since the baby was asleep next to her in the baby seat. It was a baby girl. And while she handed the baby to me, the baby reached out for me with open arms and the brightest laugh I’ve ever seen or heard.
Something that was strange is that in the dream, my grandmother, who died five years ago, was returning from a chemotherapy session at the hospital and was much disoriented while speaking to me, and I felt a world of emotion as I heard how they had mistreated her.

Dear Lee-Andra: Pregnancy indicates a new beginning that is coming now. The new beginning is at hand; its creative energy signified by the girl, and has been stagnant in you for five years now. Five also represents creative energy and is associated with family, job, hobbies or whatever you create. This creative ability in you has huge potential to bring you happiness and opportunity like you have never seen before. This is indicated by the laugh and open arms.
The ending of the dream seems to indicate where your current state of mind is on this. Chemo kills the good cells with the bad and surely disorientates you, so I feel this is related to your feelings. This part tells you to take time to sort through the good and bad of the new beginning, find out what worked and what didn’t.
You must have tried this before and were disappointed by the outcome and emotionally shut down from the disappointment. Your dream is encouraging you to start over and not let your emotions take over because you will persevere.
