A Portland man died after driving off the road Sunday east of Sweet Home, troopers said.
Robert Snyder, 60, was driving west on U.S. 20 in rural Linn County when he went off the road, the Oregon State Police said, citing an early investigation. He hit a tree and suffered fatal injuries, according to the state police.
The agency didn’t say what led to the crash. No other drivers appear to have been involved.
Authorities responded about 7:10 a.m.
