Camagüey, Dec 19.- A meeting between friends, in the privacy of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets, resulted in the inauguration of the personal exhibition Strong and Bitter, by the charismatic plastic artist Ileana Sánchez Hing.
Like his life, the exhibition -open in the afternoon of this Friday, December 18- was all laughter and color, tinged by the smell of coffee and the brotherhood that emanates from sharing the black elixir of the gods.
Ten large paintings filled the walls of the Amalia room, impregnated with Pop Art, a trend that Sánchez Hing defends in his work, and that this time he reveals through the technique of acrylic on canvas.
Strong and Bitter is a sample of the personality of Ileana Sánchez, and to say of Pavel Barrios Sosa, who was in charge of the catalog's words, it is in turn an exercise in memory, a piece of memories that take viewers back to the own childhood of the local creator.
With an appointment at Avenida de la Libertad in the City of Los Tinajones, the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets will open its doors until the end of next January so that coffee and visual lovers can witness the exhibition of Ileana Sánchez Hing,Strong and Bitter , like his life.
