The flavors are loud and refreshing.
The choices range from OREO Blast to Mango.
The servings come in chalices and steins.

The snowball stand at 3937 N. Twin City Highway in Port Arthur is quickly becoming a family must and social media darling.
Creating a place for community members to beat the heat and create a memory or two is all owner Giomar Guevara wanted when she launched the location approximately five years ago.
“I just wanted to do something for the community, something for families to enjoy and make memories when they come in to get sno cones,” she said.
She didn’t want customers to merely come through the drive-thru. She wanted a place that made it natural for those with a sweet tooth and all others to stop, sit down at the tables and enjoy treats and company, alike.
“I wanted to make something that was more enjoyable for families spending time together, creating some memories,” Guevara said. “After 10 years, I want someone saying, ‘’Hey, Dad, do you remember when we used to go out and get sno cones.’ That was my picture, to create something that was more for families.”
Today, she is open seven days a week with a team of eight dedicated to creating just what you desire.
Her favorite new flavor is mango.
Guevara says she keeps asking customers what they like about the sno cones.
“They can’t believe how something sweet can be so refreshing at the same time,” she said. “We have so many sweet flavors that are refreshing. That is what I wanted to create.
“If you are thirsty, you want something refreshing, but you don’t want it too sweet because that will make you more thirsty. I want it sweet and refreshing at the same time. We definitely need it. It’s too hot.”
The maximum heat index could reach as high as 112 degrees this weekend and into Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Small rain chances don’t return until late next week.
Sno cones might be our only answer.
Guevara is from Venezuela and moved to Port Arthur 14 years ago.
She has found a home serving Greater Port Arthur because her customers enjoy the sno cones and keep coming back for more.
“I know my customers and they know me,” she says. “Even when they come to just the drive-thru, I already know what they want. I love the fact that we know our customers and they know us. I won’t move from here.”
