Kim Kardashian reminisced over her younger self with a sweet throwback photo just in time for Flashback Friday.
The former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, 40, posted the picture of herself and her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic in honor of his birthday on her Instagram Stories.
In the image, she appeared fresh-faced with minimal makeup, her then-signature raven waves and a hot pink bikini top.
Dedivanovic, who turned 38 on Friday, also sported his own baby-faced look with a clean shave and casual tan T-shirt.
In a separate, more current image of the pair, Kardashian wrote to her longtime pal and collaborator, “OMG you’re old! LOL Like a fine wine tho … I love you. Happy Birthday @makeupbymario.”
In 2018, Dedivanovic divulged on the Overnight Success podcast just how he started working with his now-muse before she became a big star.
“My friend Sebastian was doing a shoot for a Social Life magazine cover and he called me and was like, ‘Hey, can you do this girl, her name is Kim Kardashian, she has a show on E! which is coming out, can you do it?’” he recalled. “I said no because I had to do some of the anchors at Fox [News].”
Dedivanovic then said his friend insisted, “Please please please, you’ll be perfect for this job, you’ll be perfect.’”
The Bronx native said when he met Kardashian he immediately “fell in love with her face.”
He told the podcaster, “Aesthetically, for me, she’s like the idea of beauty. I’m so attracted to her face, she’s gorgeous.”
That was around 2007 and from then on Dedivanovic said Kardashian kept requesting him for shoots, adding, “I started traveling with her and that was how it all happened.”
Kardashian has been able to maintain a beautiful look over the years — albeit an “evolved” one — with the help of some cosmetic procedures and a lavish skincare routine.
During a 2013 episode of “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami,” the KKW Beauty founder received a treatment dubbed the “vampire facial,” in which clients have their own blood plasma drawn and micro-needled into their face.
Her dermatologist, Dr. Harold Lancer, also told Page Six Style in April 2020, “The majority of my clients are high-profile people, whether in entertainment or politics and they require a lot of care, but most of the people I see are extremely disciplined about home skincare.”
