David H. Wallett was a plant controller for Amsted Rail in Camp Hill.

Wallett, 66, of Mechanicsburg, died July 11 at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

He was a graduate of Mount Union High School and received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Penn State University.

He previously worked as an accountant at DuPont/FCI/Berg Electronics.

His family said he enjoyed home projects, working in the yard, music, lifting weights and taking family vacations to Wildwood.

“He excelled at trivia and sports facts. He could talk to anyone,” his family said.

Surviving are his wife, Janet C. Wallett; two daughters, Laura Lehman, wife to Dillon Lehman and Amy Wallett; son, Ryan Newmoyer, husband to Crystal Newmoyer; five grandchildren, Caleb and Lilah Lehman and Miles, Eva and Owen Newmoyer; and a brother, Robert Wallett.
