A cold front will swing through Sunday afternoon, ushering in colder air here locally. By Monday morning, we will see temperatures dropping into the mid and low 20s along with gusty conditions. Winds out of the west Monday morning will be gusting upwards of 40 MPH, and this will bring wind chill values down into the low teens for some locations. Keep in mind, we will also see snow showers at this time, and with gusty conditions likely, we will see borderline whiteout conditions for some areas. Any wet roadways Monday morning will have the potential to freeze over, creating some treacherous travel spots. Finally, with the gusty conditions, there will also be the low possibility for some isolated power outages. Bundle up for Monday, but we don't have to wait long for warmth as temperatures return to the 60s by the end of the week!
